Housing is a human right, and we need policies that finally treat it that way.

I support a major national effort to build and preserve affordable homes, paired with a move toward more standardized permitting rules. Today, the process to build a house varies across nearly nineteen thousand jurisdictions. This creates unnecessary delays and confusion. I support federal incentives that encourage states and cities to adopt streamlined and digital permitting systems that cut red tape while maintaining important safety standards. I will also strengthen programs like the Low Income Housing Tax Credit, protect renters from unjust evictions and predatory rent hikes, and ensure tenants have access to legal support when they need it. I will work to stop corporate landlords and private equity firms from buying up homes and inflating prices, and I will push for strong antitrust enforcement to prevent both concentrated ownership in local markets and the algorithmic pricing cartels inflating costs to historic highs.

Every person deserves equal rights and protection under the law, no matter their race, gender, religion, or background. YYet under the Trump administration, minorities across religious, LGBTQ+, ethnic, and immigrant communities have been used as scapegoats by Trump and his cabinet, who would rather point fingers at the vulnerable than confront the billionaire class that funds their campaigns and controls their policies.

I will enforce zero tolerance for discrimination in all its forms and ensure that our laws are applied fairly and consistently. I will protect free speech, safeguard independent media, uphold academic freedom, and defend the right to protest as essential pillars of a healthy democracy.

Women's rights have come under attack by the Trump administration and his Epstein class. I will fight back for all women in our society by protecting their reproductive rights and restoring full access to abortion, contraception, and comprehensive healthcare without government interference. I will push for equal pay for equal work and strengthen protections against domestic violence, sexual harassment, and assault, and ensure that the systems meant to protect survivors actually do their job.

I want to make childcare affordable, expand child tax credits, and work towards universal childcare.

Massachusetts is the most expensive state in the U.S. to raise a child, with costs for a preschooler exceeding $44,000 annually in 2025. We know there are better options out there and we must do better. I support robust Federal grant and aid programs that will expand our existing public school systems to cover childcare starting from birth. This will provide a healthy educational and social environment to developing children as well as relieve parents to be able to work and build a better future for their family.

MA-05 is one of the most educated districts in the nation, and it should lead the fight for academic freedom and for a future where education is affordable and accessible to all.

Every child deserves a great education and a fair chance at a better future. I will defend academic freedom from government interference and protect our schools from harmful budget cuts. We need to increase funding for public education from preschool through college so that every student, regardless of income or background, can access the opportunities they need to thrive. This includes giving teachers the pay, training, and resources they deserve. Our curricula must be modernized to meet the technological and societal demands of the twenty-first century and to prepare students for the world they are entering. I also support making college more affordable and forgiving existing federal student loan debt, while building a system that ensures future generations are not forced into the same crisis. We spend over four times as much on the military than we do on our education, what kind of message is that sending to our children?

It is not a democracy if we are ruled by the few.

We need systemic campaign finance reform that breaks the grip of big money on our politics and election reforms that make participation accessible to every voter. I support banning corporate money in politics, publishing where every campaign dollar comes from, and making it easier for working families to participate in our democracy. We must eliminate corporate and foreign PAC dominance, overturn Citizens United, and ban insider trading in Congress. I support automatic voter registration, ranked voting, public financing of elections, and term limits for both members of Congress and Supreme Court justices. I also believe Election Day should be a federal holiday so every citizen can vote without barriers.

Protecting our environment is protecting our children’s future, and we cannot afford to wait.

I support a strong national transition to clean and renewable energy that reduces pollution and strengthens our economy. It is time to end federal subsidies for oil and gas companies and invest those resources in sustainable technologies and clean energy innovation. By doing so, we can create good paying green jobs that rebuild our infrastructure and prepare our communities for the challenges ahead. We also need to begin building serious pathways to reverse atmospheric carbon, not just slow down our contributions to it, and hardening our communities to increasingly chaotic and destructive weather patterns.

A strong economy starts with working families, not with corporations that exploit them.

We need to raise the minimum wage, cut everyday costs, and stop corporate price gouging that pushes families to the edge. I support modernizing American industries, reviving the middle class, and strengthening unions. We must also reform the tax system so it is fair and enforce anti-monopoly laws to protect small businesses and startups from being crushed by corporate power. This will also revive the American Dream, which has been under attack for far so long, and restore dignity to the middle class.

Our foreign policy should reflect who we claim to be.

The United States should lead with peace and principle, not with endless wars or destructive military interventions that no one voted for. The war with Iran is the latest example of a foreign policy driven by billionaire interests rather than the will of the American people.

We need to invest in diplomacy, human rights, and rebuilding at home rather than spending taxpayer dollars to destroy homes overseas. The Leahy Law must be enforced consistently, with no exceptions for any country, and U.S. complicity in the genocide of Palestinians must end. If elected, I will oppose U.S. weapons transfers to Israel and support recognition of the State of Palestine as part of a just and lasting peace.

Our immigration system is broken, and it is time to fix it in a way that reflects both our values and our history as a nation of immigrants.

We must keep families together and establish a clear and just path to citizenship for long-term residents who have built their lives here. Immigrants deserve protection from abuse, discrimination, and inhumane treatment, and they deserve a system that treats them with dignity. We must uphold due process and equal protection under the law. Agencies like ICE, which have terrorized immigrant communities, detained students, and killed Americans, must be defunded, abolished, and replaced with agencies that treat immigrants with the dignity and respect they deserve.

The government should be open, honest, and easy to reach, and that starts with how we serve people here at home.

I will open a welcoming and accessible constituent services office with rapid response times and extended hours so residents with family responsibilities and full time jobs can easily reach me, schedule meetings, and have their voices heard. I will also give independent media a stronger voice by engaging with them directly and bringing them into important conversations. To ensure families are always heard, I will form a Parents Advisory Board made up of community representatives who can advise on policies that impact daily life. I will maintain an active social media presence and host regular town halls, webinars, podcasts, and community gatherings so residents stay informed about developments in Washington.

Not enough lawmakers are putting together real and thoughtful policies related to the rapid prominence of AI technologies in everyday life. These technologies are already impacting family budgets, utilities costs, our children’s mental health, how we talk to each other, and politics and economy.

I will work on a path forward for regulation of AI technologies that ensures it is to the benefit of everyone, and not just a handful of Silicon Valley executives. That means making sure AI is environmentally clean, job-creating rather than job-killing, safe, transparent, and free from bias. I will do this hand-in-hand with subject matter experts not beholden to private interests over the public good. I will also regulate AI-generated images and videos to prevent misuse and deception.
